Halloween in the Park: Haunted Hike 2026

The trails around Lake Whitney State Park grow restless as October draws near… as horror looks you right between the eyes on Halloween night! If you crave true chills, shadowy figures drifting between the trees, and whispers that follow you, if your dare! this is your invitation to walk on the haunted “Two Bridges Trail”. Step into a 1 mile Haunted Hike where the darkness feels alive, the wind carries secrets, and every snap of a twig might not be just the woods… but something watching YOU!
Park Ranger Rita will be at the trailhead to start your spooky evening adventure.
Are you brave enough to hike through the haunted hollows, cross two bridges where hikers swear they’ve heard footsteps behind them and face the night as it reveals what usually stays hidden.
Time: 7:30 PM – 8:30 PM (with last hike at 8:30PM!!!) (Perfect for ALL ages)
Bring: a flashlight

Weather Note: Programs won’t run if it’s below 55°F or above 95°F—perfect haunting conditions only!
