Summer Color! Storybook on the Trail

Step into a vibrant world of storytelling with “Summer Color!”, a delightful children’s book by Diana Murray & Zoey Persico. Follow the Two Bridges Trail as you read this amazing story, come and watch it come alive alongside the colors of nature that inspired it. This immersive storybook hike invites families and readers of all ages to explore the outdoors through a joyful, colorful tale.
Participants will walk the trail at their own pace, stopping at designated story stations where pages of “Summer Color!” are displayed to be read aloud. Along the way, discover how nature’s summer palette mirrors the bright and beautiful illustrations of the book. It’s a perfect blend of literacy, art, and nature exploration.
What to Bring:
- Comfortable walking shoes
- Water bottle
- Sunscreen and insect repellent
- Hat or sunglasses for sun protection
- A sense of wonder and imagination!
Before You Hit the Trail:
✅ Pay your day-use fee
✅ Sign in for the storybook event
✅ Pick up your questionnaire to use along the storybook trail!
How to Join the Fun:
- Head over to the Two Bridges Trail, where the magic begins.
- Stroll through trail where you will find the wonderful colorful storybook pages come to life.
- When your trail tale is complete, wander back to HQ anytime between 9:00 AM and 4:00 PM. and show us your complete questionnaire to receive a sizzling summer sticker as a token of appreciation!
