Join us to learn the basics of prehistoric hunting with an atlatl!

Can you take down an angry Columbian Mammoth with just two sticks and a stone point?? Your ancestors did.

Before the bow and arrow, Native Americans hunted with the atlatl and dart. Join us to learn about this ancient hunting tool, and try it for yourself! All equipment is provided. Recommended for ages 6+.

Prepare: Dress for being outside (layers and sturdy shoes recommended) and bring water. No registration required.

Meet: Meet your instructor at the archery range, which is just past the pool on the main road into the park. Park in the pool parking lot or the picnic area parking lot.
