Campfire 101: Making Camping S’more Fun

Join us for a fire-building demonstration and s'mores!

Join us to see how to safely build a campfire! The ingredients for s'mores will be provided, while supplies last! All ages welcome.

Prepare: Bring your own chair or blanket. There is no seating provided around the campfire ring. No registration required. 

Meet: Meet in the park picnic area. If driving from park HQ, pass the pool and take your first right-hand turn into the picnic area parking lot. 

Fees: This class is free with paid entry to the park. Regular park entrance fees are $3/adult, free for children 12 & under.

Please Note: If the park is under a burn ban, we will not actually light the campfire.  Instead, we will include a discussion on campfire alternatives and make our s'mores with a portable propane fire pit.
