Preschool in the Park: Bird Walk

Come explore, create, and sing with us as we learn about our amazing environment!

Introduce your little ones to the wonders of nature in these fun programs for kiddos ages 3-7! This program series runs September through April on the third Tuesday of every month. We cover a different topic every month, so don’t miss out! No registration required.

December's activity is a bird walk. Grab a pair of binoculars and become more familiar with our feathered friends!

Prepare: Dress for the weather (sturdy shoes and layers recommended) and bring water. We will supply the binoculars!

Meet: In the picnic area of the park. If driving from park HQ, pass the pool, take your first right-hand turn, and park in the parking lot near the playground.  

Fees: The class is free with entry to the park. Regular park entrance fees are $3/adult, free for children 12 & under.
