Discover the constellations that decorate our fall sky and listen to the exciting tales that surround them!

Many ancient cultures saw pictures in the stars at night and spun tales to explain how and why these pictures came to be in the heavens. In this storytelling program, you’ll learn to identify constellations in the night sky and hear their stories from several different cultures.

Prepare: Wear bug repellent, and bring a chair or blanket to cuddle up under the stars. If desired, bring a flashlight to use when leaving the program.

Meet: Park at the headquarters building and walk down the cart path to meet us on the No. 1 fairway of the golf course. Look for our red lights. Please plan to arrive early to give yourself time to walk to our meeting location.

Fees: Program is free with entry to the park. Regular park entrance fees are $3/adult, free for children 12 & under. If our office is closed when you arrive, please use the self-pay station at park HQ to check into the park.
