Marvel at the Moon

Take a closer look at our moon!

Discover the stories and science behind our largest satellite – the Moon! Peer through binoculars and a telescope at the surface of the moon, learn how its craters formed, and hear ancient stories. All ages welcome.

Prepare: You may want to bring bug repellent, a chair/blanket, and a flashlight. No registration required.

Meet: At the Park Headquarters building.  We will walk down the cart path to our No. 1 fairway.

Fees: Program is free with entry to the park. Regular park entrance fees are $3/adult, free for children 12 & under. If our office is closed when you arrive, please use the self-pay station at park HQ to check into the park.
