Solar Arts and Crafts

Join us to explore our nearest star and create sun-powered crafts!

Observe the sun’s surface (safely) through a telescope and learn about its amazing attributes! Then create some art with help from the sun’s energy. All ages welcome.

Prepare: Wear weather-appropriate clothes, sturdy shoes and bring water. No registration required.

Meet: Meet in the park picnic area. If driving from park HQ, pass the pool and take your first right-hand turn into the picnic area parking lot.

Fees: Regular park entrance fees apply ($3/adult, free for children 12 & under).
