Join us to learn the who and why of planting with our local favorites!
Your garden, no matter the size, can have a positive impact on the environment. Planting native plants saves wildlife, water, and money (along with other benefits). Join us to tour the native plant gardens at Lockhart State Park, and discuss desirable plants for your garden! All ages welcome.
Prepare: Dress for being outside and bring water. No registration required.
Meet: Meet at the Park Headquarters building.
Fees: This class is free with paid entry to the park. Regular park entrance fees are $3/adult, free for children 12 & under.
