Papel Picado

Create your own dazzling papel picado as you learn the history of this traditional decoration!

All materials will be provided. All ages welcome.

Prepare: Wear weather-appropriate clothing, and bring a bottle of water. No registration required. 

Meet: Meet in the picnic area of the park. If driving from park HQ, pass the pool and take your first right-hand turn into the picnic area parking lot.

Fees: To celebrate national Girl Scouts Love State Parks weekend, this event is FREE for all current and future girl scouts and their families. Simply mention you are with (or interested in) Girl Scouts when you check into the park, and your entry fees will be waived! Regular park entrance fees are $3/adult, free for children 12 & under.
