Visit the Sauer-Beckmann Farm an hour early to beat the crowds + special activities at the Farm.

Beat the crowds and get to the Sauer-Beckmann Farm early this Spring Break! Just for these weeks, visit this 1918 German-Texan farmstead an hour earlier than usual.

Daily activities

  • Cow milking demonstration and farm chores with a ranger @ 9am.
  • Cooking on a wood-burning stove demonstration 10am-noon.
  • Evening chores with a ranger @ 3:20pm.
  • Life on a farm in 1918 - all day, every day.

  • Wednesday, March 19 - fun and games
  • Thursday, March 20 - wool/cotton spinning
  • Friday, March 21 - rag doll making
  • Sunday, March 23 - wool/cotton spinning
