Join us for a UV night walk to explore the park to look for glowing birds, night pollinators, glowing plants, fungus, lichens and more.
Join us for a UV night walk to explore the park to look for glowing birds, night pollinators, glowing plants, fungus, lichens and more. We will start during daylight and continue to explore after dark. Learn the basics of bird watching and helpful tips on how to identify birds by sight and sound with Master Naturalist Andrea and learn about why some organisms glow in the dark under black lights from Angel.

Where: Meet at the Smith Visitor Center
What to bring: Comfortable shoes, flash lights, UV lights (there will be a limited number of UV lights available for use)
Event is free with paid entrance fees; Adults: $6, Children 12 and under: Free. All ages welcome. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
