National Trails Day: Onion Creek Trail Hike

Join us for a hike on National Trails Day and celebrate the opening of our brand new Onion Creek Trail!
Are are excited to announce the opening of our newly re-routed Onion Creek trail on Saturday, June 3rd! We will be hosting a 3.2-mile guided hike along this trail at 10am. Joining us will be the Texas Trail Tamers, who have put in countless hours of work on our new trail, and would love to show it off to our visitors! We will learn about the basics of trail maintenance and answer any questions you have about the park! Stop by the Visitor Center early from 9-10am to join the Trail Tamers' Exploration Station and learn more about the work they do in our parks.
- Meet: Visitor Center Front Patio
- Bring: Plenty of water, good hiking shoes, and dress for the weather!
Event is free with paid entrance fees; Adults: $6, Children 12 and under: Free.

FULL SCHEDULE FOR SATURDAY 6/3:
- 9-10am: Texas Trail Tamers Exploration Station at the Visitor Center
- 10am-12pm: Guided Hike of Onion Creek Trail re-route with park rangers and Texas Trail Tamers
- 12-1pm: Camino Crankie Suite musical performance by El Camino Real de los Tejas Foundation at the Visitor Center
