Backyard Birds Scavenger Hunt

Hit the trail for a self-guided birding adventure!

Ready to explore nature in a new way? Explore the 0.7-mile Little Springs Trail and see how many plushy backyard birds you can spot along the way.  Whether you're a seasoned birder or a first-timer, it's a fun and interactive way to connect with the outdoors.

Don't forget to stop by the Front Office to collect your scavenger hunt sheet before taking off!

Difficulty & Length: Moderate, 0.7 mile hike on a rocky trail

Meet: This adventure is available all day

Bring: Weather-appropriate clothing, Water, Sunscreen, Bug Spray, and Closed-Toe Shoes.

Cost: This program is included in park entry fees. Park admission is free with a Texas Parks Pass.
