Lace up your boots and join us on the Little Forest Junior Trail for a guided hike to welcome 2026 in true Texas style. What better way to kick off our Nation’s 250th Birthday celebrations than exploring the great outdoors together?
Difficulty & Length: Easy, 0.8-mile hike on the Little Forest Junior Trail
Meet: 10:00 am @ the Juniper Ridge Campground Area
Bring: Weather-appropriate clothing, Water, Sunscreen, Bug Spray, and Closed-Toe Shoes.
Cost: This program is included in park entry fees. Park admission is free with a Texas Parks Pass.
