History Hike

Work off your Thanksgiving feast with a stroll through history!

Join us for a hike along the scenic Bosque Trail while discovering Meridian’s rich past, including Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC) structures and other historical highlights. This program is the perfect mix of fresh air, exercise, and a little local history!

All ages and experience levels are welcome!

Difficulty & Length: Easy, 1.25-mile hike on both trail and roadway with hills

Meet: 1:00 pm @ the Lakeside Day Use Area

Bring: Weather-appropriate clothing, Water, Sunscreen, Bug Spray, and Closed-Toe Shoes.

Cost: This program is included in park entry fees. Park admission is free with a Texas Parks Pass.
