"ty Spy" Birding

Take a walk down Little Springs Trail with your favorite people and enjoy our easy birding scavenger hunt!

Spot Ty Beanie Babies hidden along the trail and test your ability to ID these silly birds. Special thanks to Pot of Gold Thrift Store for donating these cuddly critters and helping us bring back this family favorite program! All ages and experience levels are welcome to enjoy at your own pace.

Please leave the Beanies for others to enjoy and take only pictures home with you.

Difficulty & Length: Moderate, 0.75 mile hike on a rocky trail

Meet: This adventure is available all weekend, so come on your schedule and see how many feathered friends you can spot on the Little Springs Trail!

Bring: Weather-appropriate clothing, Water, Sunscreen, Bug Spray, and Closed-Toe Shoes. 

Cost: Free with park admission, you can reserve your daily entrance ticket online here. Park admission is free with a Texas Parks Pass.  Arriving after hours? Please use the self-pay station at Park HQ.
