Come join park staff for a program on the owls at Mission Tejas State Park and how they live and hunt at night!

Owls are more than far-off hoots heard as the sun goes down. These nocturnal predators are highly specialized hunters and have captured the imaginations of people around the world.

Come join the park interpreter for a program on how owls are adapted so well for nocturnal lifestyles. Learn about the different types of owls found in the park and find out who makes all those hoots in the forest night. Restrooms and water fountains will be nearby. 

Where: Park amphitheater behind the group pavilion and picnic area restrooms.

When: Nov. 2 @ 7:00 PM

Cost: General admission into the park: $3/person. Kids 12 and under, those camping in the park, and carriers of a valid Texas State Parks Pass get in for free.
