Come to the park and figure out how to read animal footprints and other signs critters leave behind!

Ever seen animal footprints on the trail and wondered what made them? Come to Mission Tejas and join park staff for a program on animal sign and tracks!

Learn about the animals that call Mission Tejas State Park home and unravel the mystery of reading animal tracks. We will have a very easy walk around the Mission Pond, looking for footprints by the shore and talking about what we find. After the program, those who have some extra time can check out a collection of animal hides and skulls to learn more about local wildlife.

Where: We will meet at the Day-Use picnic area. Restrooms and water fountains will be available.

When: Nov. 16 @ 10 AM.

Cost: Regular admission into the state park: $3 per person. Kids 12 and under and/or carriers of a valid Texas State Parks Pass get in for free!
