Celebrate 100 years of Texas State Parks with a Campfire and S'mores!

Join us for a fire-building demonstration and s'mores! What better way to celebrate the past 100 years of Texas State Parks and look forward to 100 more years than enjoying s’mores with family or friends? The ingredients for s'mores will be provided, while supplies last. All ages welcome.

Prepare: Bring a chair or blanket. You can also bring your own ingredients for s'mores, if you want to. No registration required. 

Meet: Meet on the Day-use Beach. Once you enter the park proceed to the day-use parking lot.  Please note: no seating is provided around the campfire ring, so bring your own chair or blanket, if desired. 

Fees: This event is free with paid entry to the park. Regular park entrance fees are $5/adult, free for children 12 & under.

Texas State Parks will be hosting fun and unique s’mores celebrations across Texas on May 13. Guarantee entry by reserving your day pass up to one month before this special event.
