Beachcombing

Winter is beachcombing season! Learn why and train your eye to find a treasure.

When:  3pm-4pm

Where: Meet at the day-use beach near the big gazeebo (outdoor classroom)

What: Topics of discussion will be shells, sea-beans, and anything else the ocean currents bring to Mustang Island.

Notes: Wear comfortable shoes and dress for the weather,  the island is usually much windier than in town.

Program subject to cancellation for weather 

There is no fee for attending this program although park entrance is required.  Entrance fees are $5 per person over the age of 13, children 12 and under are free, or free with a current Texas State Park Pass.
