CANCELLED:A Slice of Palo Duro Pie

Due to staff shortages we have cancelled this event and will look forward to having it in the future again. Learn about the geology that makes up each slice of Palo Duro Canyon in this short hike.

Join our rangers in a short hike along the Triassic and CCC Trails (Approximately 0.5 miles one way). Participants will get the chance to experience the geology of Palo Duro Canyon up close and personal.

Things You Should Know: 

• Meet: Triassic Trailhead
• Bring: Comfortable walking/hiking shoes or boots (they will get sandy), 1 liter of water per person per mile, and weather appropriate clothing (jackets, etc.). 
• Cost: Included with admission to the park. Park admission is free with a Texas State Park Pass (purchased before event).
