Morning Ride in the Canyon

Do you have a horse and enjoy riding, but don’t have anyone to ride with? Join us for a mindful morning ride in the canyon.

Enjoy a mindful ride with one of our experience lead guide down Juniper Cliffside Trail. Enjoy the sounds of nature and a chance of wildlife sightings on this beautiful trail ride through the canyon! The trail ride will be approximately 3 hours/7 miles. During this ride all horses will remain at walk pace.

Things to Know:

Meet: equestrian day use area

Bring: Your horse and your preference of equipment to ride with, weather appropriate clothing, 1 liter of water per person per mile. There will be water access for your horse at the beginning and halfway points of the trail. Proof of a Negative Coggins test.

Cost: Included with admission to the park. Park admission is free with a Texas State Park Pass (purchased before event).
