Can you use ancient technology to survive?
Before the bow and arrow was developed, ancient Texans successfully hunted large game such as bison, with a weapon used by many ancient civilizations all over the world. Come learn more about the Atlatl, a weapon used by men, women and children, to hunt and survive!
- Meet at the Equestrian Trailhead to join in. Park by the large barn. Terrain is flat and mostly grass/dirt floor. There is no shade. Location.
- Signed Safety Waiver required to participate. (Provided at event)
- Participation requires throwing action and some upper body strength. Participation is not required to attend event.
- Must be 8 years old or older to participate. Younger children will be given alternate activity. Adult supervision required for children 17 years old and younger.
- Normal entrance fees required to enter park, no additional fees to attend this event.
