Solar S'mores

Celebrate National S'mores Day with us!

Come make your own solar oven and enjoy some s'mores! 

Time: 5:30 PM - 6:30 PM

Meet: Pavilion (Day Use)

Bring: Water, sunscreen, bug spray, good hiking shoes, weather appropriate clothing, & snack. 

Cost: Free with admission ($5 per person 13+ years). Admission free with annual pass. If arriving after 4:45 pm, please use our self-pay kiosk (cash-only) located in the front office parking lot.

If ADA assistance is required, please request modifications using this form, or email accessibility@tpwd.texas.gov at least 2 weeks in advance. 

Purtis Creek has one grit wheelchair readily available for checkout. Please contact Ranger Jenna at Jenna.Lombard@tpwd.texas.gov to reserve & check availability.
