Charting the Stars!

Join a ranger to explore the Milky Way!

We will be hiking along the Solar Walk Trail (0.5 miles) to explore the constellations, moon phases, and learn what we can do to protect the future of our dark skies!

• Meet: Solar Walk Trailhead (#2 as indicated on the park trails map) @ 8:30 PM.
• Bring: Weather appropriate clothes, closed-toe shoes, water, star chart, and red-light flashlight. 
• Cost: Entry fee is $5 for ages 13 & older and free for 12 & under (Park entry free with Texas State Park Pass). Please use self-pay (cash only) if arriving after 4:45 pm.
