100 Trees for 100 Years

Join us in celebrating 100 years of Texas State Parks by Planting 100 trees in our park!

Come celebrate 100 Years of Texas State Parks at Ray Roberts Lake State Park’s and plant your own legacy.
To celebrate 100 years of Texas State Parks we will be planting 100 trees within Ray Roberts Lake State Park complex. We are extending limited registration to allow the public to be a part of this experience and to let you and your family leave their mark in the park by planting a tree yourself to come back and enjoy for generations.


When:
Saturday, Nov. 4, 2023
8AM – 9:30PM

Where:
Ray Roberts Lake State Park – Isle du Bois Day Use Area – Look for Sign

Cost:
Entrance and participation is free but registration via email is required

Registration/Sign Up:
To sign up for the Isle du Bois Unit tree planting please email Mindy.Shumate@TPWD.Texas.Gov
Email your contact phone number, how many people will be in your party.
Each party will plant one tree in our Day Use Area.
Sign ups are first come first serve.

Bring:
Your own gardening or work gloves, water, closed toe shoes

Reminders:
This is one of many 100-Year Celebration events happening in Texas State Parks this year. Entry to a park is free on the day it hosts an official 100-Year Celebration Event (applies to day passes only). Guarantee entry by reserving your free day pass up to one month before this special event.
Please dress for the weather.
