!! WEATHER CANCELATION !! - Due to severe weather predictions during program time, this program has been canceled. Come celebrate spring and a day of fun in the sun at Greenfest on the Greenbelt, presented by the Greenbelt Alliance of Denton County!

!! WEATHER CANCELATION !! - Due to severe weather predictions during program time, this program has been canceled.

 

Greenfest includes a 5k, a 1 mile Fun Run, and family festival centered around health, wellness, and outdoor recreation.

There will be food, fun, & games for the entire family.
The 5k Trail Run and 1 Mile Fun Run course will take you along the beautiful Greenbelt Trails along the Elm Fork of the Trinity River and across the historic Elm Fork Bridge.
Runners & Walkers of all ability levels are welcome to participate at whatever pace they chose.

In addition, Park Rangers and other groups will also be on hand with free games & activities that promote health, wellness, and outdoor recreation for all ages. All proceeds from the 5k and 1 mile Fun Run stay local to support the Greenbelt and Ray Roberts Lake State Park.

When:
- April 20, 2024
- Ranger and Vendor Activities 8a.m. - 12p.m.
- 6:45 a.m. — Race registration and packet pick-up open
- 8:15 a.m. — 1 mile fun run begins
- 9:00 a.m. — Singing of the National Anthem
- 9:15 a.m. — 10K begins
- 9:30 a.m. - 5K begins
- 11:00 a.m. — Awards Ceremony

-Ray Roberts Lake State Park – Greenbelt Park at FM 428 Entrance in Aubrey, TX
Cost:
- Entrance fees and Festival booth activities are free!
