Kids Trout Derby

Join rangers for our annual Kids Trout Derby

Join us at the Kid Fishpond for our annual Kids Trout Derby! Prizes will be provided every hour and grand prizes will be awarded at the end of the day (4pm) for "Biggest Fish Caught" and "Most Fish Caught". We will have different booths and activities around the pond for kids of all ages to enjoy along with fishing. Hot dogs and drinks (hot cocoa, hot coffee, and water) will be provided by the park. 

***The pond will be closed from January 4th till the January 6th at 9am for Derby preparation***

When: January 6th: 9am to 1PM
Where: Kid Fishpond
Who: All ages welcome but only kids 16 and younger can compete for prizes
Bring: Weather appropriate clothing, water, sunscreen, and bug spray

Attendance to this event is open to the public and free AFTER regular day use or camping fees ($7 per person 13 and over, FREE for 12 and younger).

Park frequently meets capacity and reservations prior to arrival are encouraged to ensure entrance into the park. Make reservations online.
