Birding Beyond the Backyard

Calling all those that are new to birding or just want to brush up on your birding skills.

Join a ranger to learn the basics of birding and helpful tools to have handy while out birdwatching. During this program we will explore trails with a ranger to see what birds you can identify to put your skills to the test.

Meet: Check in at the Visitor Center front desk for the program.
Prepare: Wear weather-appropriate clothing and sturdy shoes. Bring plenty of water and apply bug repellent and sunscreen, as needed.
Fee: This program is free with general admission to the park. Adults are $4 per person and children ages 12 and under are free.
