Bark Ranger Hike

Enjoy a hike on the trail with your pets.

Join Ranger Kennie on a guided hike along the Shady Trail. 

Dogs are encouraged and welcome to come along. All pets must be on a leash no longer than 6 feet. 

Location: Bell Trailhead/North Concho Pavilion Parking Lot on the north side of the park

Distance/Difficulty: Approximately 1 mile, easy

Bring: Water (for both you & your pet), leash, doggy bag, closed-toed shoes, sun protection

Cost: Free with park admission

• Entrance fee for the park:
  • $4 for adults 13 & up.
  • Free for children 12 & under.
  • Free for Texas State Park Pass holders.

*Note - You must check in at the South Shore Gatehouse to get the gate code for the North Concho Entrance.
