Join the Friends of San Angelo State Park in starting off the new year with a horse ride tour of the South Unit trails!
Location: Chaparral Pavilion
Distance/Difficulty: Easy to moderate, about 7.5 miles
Bring: Water, snacks, close-toed shoes, sun protection, proof of negative Coggins test.
Cost: Free with park admission
- Entrance fee for the park:
- $4 for adults 13 & up.
- Free for children 12 & under.
- Free for Texas State Park Pass holders.
*Note - You must check in at the South Shore Gatehouse to provide proof of horse's current negative COGGINS test.
