Full Moon Hike

Hike under the light of the full moon!

Join Ranger Kennie in a night hike along Red Dam Loop! See what creatures and sounds can be heard along the trails at night. 

Location: Chaparral Pavillion

Distance/Difficulty: Approximately 1.2 miles, easy to moderate, Red Dam Loop & Chaparral Trails.

Bring: Water, closed-toed shoes, flashlight or headlamp (red light preferred)

Cost: Free with park entry

• Entrance fee for the park:
• $4 for adults 13 & up.
• Free for children 12 & under.
• Free for Texas State Park Pass holders

*Note - This is an after-hours hike. Reserve your day passes online or utilize the self-pay station at the entrance for this program.
