Beachfront Treasure Hunt

Use geocaching to search for hidden treasure at the beach!

Geocaches (hidden treasure containers) can be found all over your neighborhood and the world, including Sea Rim State Park! GPS units or smart phone apps are used to find these treasures. Join us to learn the basics of this fun sport, and embark on a practice treasure hunt! GPS units will be provided. All ages welcome.

Prepare: Wear weather-appropriate clothing and bring a bottle of water. Bring your smart phone or GPS unit, if you have one. Feel free to download a Geocaching app to your smart phone prior to the program. No registration required.

Meet: Porch in Entrance Loop

Fees: Class is free with paid entry into the park. Regular park entrance fees are $3/adult, free for children 12 & under.
