Kids Fish

Bring the kids to the beach for a day of fishing and fun!
If you've been meaning to visit Sea Rim but haven't gotten around to it yet, Kids Fish is the time to come! It's a free event for kids ages 1-12. Children will receive a free fishing rod and t-shirt while supplies last. Kids can then use that rod to catch as many fish as they can to compete for prizes! Volunteers will be on the beach to record size and number of fish caught for each kid as well as providing bait and fishing advice. We will award prizes to the following age groups: 1-4, 5-8 and 9-12.
Schedule:
- 8:30- Registration starts
- 9:00-11:00- Fishing
- 11:00- End of fishing, lunch is served
- 11:30- Awards
Parking and event will be on the beach. Accommodations available for visitors with mobility concerns.
Staff and volunteers will be around to help with fishing questions, baiting hooks, unhooking fish, and the like so don't worry about your experience with fishing. Just have fun!
