Ranger Led Hike

Enjoy a stroll through the park with us!

Join the park interpreter for a short hike to learn about the park's history and the wildlife that call the park their home. 

When: Sunday, September 8, 10:30-11:15am

Where: Meet at the Pond Pavilion

Distance: Approximately 1 mile on a mix of flat gravel surfaces and boardwalks. 

Bring: Water. Water fountain located in Heron Plaza near restrooms.

Wear: Lightweight layers, a hat, and comfortable hiking shoes. SPF and bug spray recommended. 

Cost: FREE. Sheldon Lake State Park requires no permits or day-use fees.
