Hike with a Ranger

Come hike and explore the backcountry with a ranger.

We will meet at the Agarita Bird Blind Parking lot/trailhead. This is a casual hike into the back country we will make stops and discuss the interests of the group.  There are a couple of steep inclines along this trail and the trail is rocky and uneven. 

All ages are welcome but be mindful of the miles for the little ones.

West Canyon Loop Trail is rated moderate and total hike is about 4 miles. It will be around 2 hours round trip.

Bring: water, and sturdy shoes, hat and other sun protection if needed. 

Note: Program is free with park entrance fee — $5 per person ages 13 and up; kids 12 and under are free! Please stop by Park Headquarters to obtain entrance permit.
