Riparian Walk

Come join Master Naturalist Kim for some riparian fun!

Join Master Naturalist Kim for a walk along the river trail. You will discuss the importance of this area of the park and the changes it goes thru. You will also discuss tactics the park is doing to help this ecosystem. 

The trail is rated as easy and in total its 1.6 miles, but this program is only a ~ 1 mile at most. 

You will meet up at the first Day Use parking lot and proceed on the trail to the North of the parking lot (right in "front").

We may step "off" trail momentarily so wear appropriate clothes and bug spray if desired. 

Bring: water, binoculars and closed toed shoes

Note: Programs are open to the public and free with park entrance ($5 per adult age 13 and up; kids 12 and under are free!). No need to register, just show up!!
