7th Annual Turkey Trot 5K/1-Mile Fun Run

Come earn those Thanksgiving calories!

South Llano River State Park is home to a Rio Grande turkey roost, so we found it fitting that we have a Turkey Trot! Why not?

Come see if you can spot any turkeys as you run/walk through the roost area towards the finish line.

Also, you are welcome to dress up like a turkey and maybe you will draw the turkeys out to the race.

All ages welcome.

Meet at the main day-use parking lot at 10 am. Race starts at 10:30 am.

Register by email before Nov.22: Lorissa.digiacomo@tpwd.texas.gov. Include number of adults and kids (ages needed). Day-of registration is accepted.

Registration is free. Just show up and pay the park entrance fees (adults $5 each, kids 12 and under are free).  

A couple of aid stations will be located along the route to make sure you stay hydrated.
