FREE ADMISSION
Stephen F. Austin State Park is excited to announce the return of its popular ‘Fall Forest Fest’ on October 12, 2024, from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. This family-friendly “Spooky Forest” themed event promises an evening filled with fun and engaging activities for all ages; including a haunted trail, blow-up archery, an obstacle course and bounce house, and more. There is no charge for entry or activities.
FREE PARKING
Parking will be located offsite at 13119 FM 1458, San Felipe, TX 77434 one block North of Interstate 10 at exit 723. A FREE shuttle service will be provided to transport attendees from the parking lot to the event space and back. Limited parking for disabled persons will be provided at the park.
COSTUME CONTEST
Sign up for the costume contest, featuring four categories: Toddlers (0 to 5 years old), Pre-teens (6 to 12 years old), Teens (13 to 17 years old) and Adult (18 and up). Prizes will be awarded for first place in each category. Visitors can sign up at the Information booth in front of the Shuttle Stop from 6 to 7:30 PM, with the costume contest starting at 8:00 PM.
Dress up and have fun
The event is designed to connect surrounding communities with the Park’s rich natural resources, and attendees are encouraged to wear costumes to add to the festive atmosphere.
