Practice shooting a bow and arrow for safe-inflatable archery fun

Learn Archery basics at Stephen F. Austin State Park. For safety, participants must be able to pull back at least 10-lbs. on their own.

Meet: the basketball court behind the Nature Center.

Time: 10 - 11 am

Bring: Water, hat, bug spray, and sunscreen. Dress for the weather.

Cost: Included with daily entrance fee. Adults are $5 per person. Children 12 and under are free. Park admission is free with a Texas Parks Pass.

Due to the outdoor nature of this program, it is dependent on weather conditions. The program will be canceled if any of the following conditions are present:

• average wind speeds over 20 mph.
• a lightning strike within 6 miles within 30 minutes of the program or during the program.
• 60% chance of heavy rain or thunderstorms forecasted 12 hours in advance.
