Have you ever wanted to find out what it takes to be birder? Join members of the Sabine-Neches Master Naturalists for to learn about one of the fastest growing hobbies in the nation!
Join Sabine-Neches Master Naturalists for an introduction to the fastest growing hobby in the nation -Birding! Learn about common birds in the Hardin County area, how to use binoculars, and new phone apps like eBird, Merlin and Audubon. Then, take a short walk to see what birds you can identify.
- Bringing personal binoculars is encouraged, limited numbers will be available at the event.
- Program will meet at the Village Creek State Park picnic pavilion.
- Suitable for all ages and skill levels.
- This program is free with park entry. No need to register.
