Nasworthy Fishing Report

Jun 12, 2024
FAIR. Water slightly stained; 84 degrees. 0.42 feet below pool. Consecutive days of triple digit weather in the forecast. The best bite will be early morning and later in the evening. The bass bite has been good on white chatterbait or spinnerbaits early morning and evening. Midday flipping soft plastics around reed bases in 1-3 feet of water is the ticket to catch shaded up largemouth bass. Also look out for the shad spawn as predatory fish are keying in on this pattern. Crappie were good around boat docks on chartreuse jigs and catfish were fair on cut bait and stink bait around river channel bends. Report provided by the Angelo State Fishing Team.
