Jun 12, 2024
GOOD. Water normal stain; 84 degrees. There is better visibility since the winds have slowed down. Bass fishing has been good in 5-15 feet of water with swimbaits and crankbaits. There is some bass up against the reeds biting small spinners and worms. A little bit of schooling action is happening on calm days. Crappie fishing seems to be fair to good but it can be hard to get a limit of keeper size. Bream are good. Report by David Townsend, Austin Fishing Guide. Crappie are good in 15-18 feet of water in brush on minnows. Report by Jess Rotherham, Texas Crappie Fishing Service. Bass are good catching numbers and some quality as well. Worms in the grass are working best but we are also catching some on topwaters like frogs and walking baits and some on swimbaits and shallow cranks. When the shad are thick in places/coves, we are catching good bass and hybrids mixed in as well. If it's Crappie you are after, we are catching those and huge bluegill and sunfish as well using crappie jugs and inline spinners. Report by Bryan Cotter, Texas Hawgs.
