- GOOD. 80 degrees. Trout are great on live shrimp, piggy perch and croaker in flats and along channels. Redfish are fair on shrimp, mullet, pin perch and menhaden in sand pockets and along mangroves. Black drum are fair on live or dead shrimp and fish bites.
