South Padre Fishing Report

- GOOD. 88 degrees. Fishing in the intracoastal waterway by the fish and shacks has been sporadic. It is late in the summer to be catching limits of trout, but speckled trout are still biting unseasonably well. There is still some drum in South Bay in the channels biting dead or live shrimp and fish bites. Black drums are running in schools out in the flats. There has been a redfish or two caught along with some trout at gaswell flats. Report by Captain Gary Farmer.
