Athens Fishing Report

GOOD. Water clear; 80-82 degrees; 0.29 feet above. Fishing patterns are similar as we head into the Memorial Day weekend. Bass are slow with most bites shallow in 3-8 feet of water in and around grass using shaky-head ribbon tail worms, and twitching flukes. Crappie are fair over brush in 20-25 feet of water using minnows. Report by Jim Brack, Athens Guide Service.
