- GOOD. Water stained; 60 degrees; 0.80 feet below pool. Bass fishing is improving rapidly with a good shallow bite going on right now. The water temperature in some of the creeks is in the low 60s, so anticipate bass to spawn within the next month. The main lake is fishing well with jerkbaits, swimbaits, Alabama rigs, and Texas rig worms. A light drop shot around the grass edges is also producing a decent amount of fish.
