- GOOD. Water stained; 75 degrees; 0.47 feet below pool. Fish are starting to get into the summertime patterns. Bass are shallow throughout the morning then move offshore as the day goes on. Fish a small bait like a dropshot, shaky head or small swimbait around edges of docks and on creek mouths. A lot of fish sitting around bait out on deep water 15-25 feet. Seeing quite a few bluegill beds shallow. Fishing a chatterbait and small creature baits are doing well in these areas. The lake has a ton of grass in it right now and fish are certainly in it.
