Bridgeport Fishing Report

Nov 24, 2021
GOOD. Water slightly stained; 60 degrees; 2.74 feet low. Birds are showing up in good numbers. This bite will only get better as it gets colder. All ramps are open. Largemouth Bass are good on shad colored crankbaits as the day warms. Rock banks in the sun have been best. Hybrids and sand bass are fair on "deadstick" baits and slabs. These fish are moving fast, so don't be afraid to move around and check different depths. Crappie are good around marinas in the south and north ends of the lake using minnows and jigs will work best. Catfish are fair on cut shad drifting/dragging in the northern end. The blue catfish bite will be picking up. Report by Keith Bunch, Lake Bridgeport Guide Service.
