EXCELLENT. Water slight stain; 76 degrees; 20.12 feet below pool. The shad spawn is showing signs of winding down, most sandy shorelines and the white bass and striper are around the bait and are biting on just about anything thrown. The stripers are biting excellent on live shad in 9-25 feet of water. White bass continue to bite well on slabs and soft plastics 20-36 feet of water on wind-blown points and humps. The trolling bite for stripers has not been very consistent last week but a few anglers managed to scratch out some fish. Be aware, the lake has reached the level where the submerged trees are starting to show and many others not far below the surface. Report by Travis Holland, TH Fishing. White bass topwater at daylight on rocky points and windblown points. Some catches of blue catfish in 8-15 feet of water or mixed in with stripers in 30-50 feet of water. Hybrids and stripers are hitting umbrella rigs in 15-30 feet of water, or live bait in 30-50 feet of water over sand points and trees. Report by Captain Aaron Dick, One Up Fishing Guide Service. Catfish are good, chasing shad on rocky points and standing timber in 25 feet of water. Crappie are good on brush in 25 feet. Report by Jess Rotherham, Texas Crappie Fishing Service. Bass are good, feeding on points and rock piles in 5-12 feet of water. Best baits are jigs, swimbaits and soft plastic worms and craws.
